Artist Statement: As soon as I found out about the Women in Engineering category for this contest, I knew exactly what direction I wanted to go with my poster. I want to become an Architectural Engineer and already I have realized the imbalance of males to females in this field. Through my poster, I wanted to show that there are more and more women today, like myself, that want to enter this male dominated field. This is another change that we, as women, are pursuing just as we pursued changes in our roles as well as our voting rights in the past. In the future, we will continue these changes and constantly rethink the way things work.
