Artist Statement: "With this year's theme being "Engineer in Color", I wanted to use a selection of bright colors. To enhance the colors and have them jump out and grab the viewer's attention, I chose darker tones for the background. The grid in the background adds depth to the poster, as well as giving it a technological feel. The silhouette in the center represents any student who could fit into the Engineering field of study. To coincide with this element, the items at the bottom of the poster are also silhouetted; I chose items that are easily recognized to represent various levels of where Engineering takes us."
