by Marion Mercado

Southwest Tennessee Community College

Early in my research to get a better idea about what engineers do, I found that most everything we encounter is engineered; from the machine that made the pencil that I drew with to the computer that I used to compose the poster. I knew that I wanted to include the whole world into my picture but that still didn't say how much influence engineering has on our life. I added the bar code to symbolize that the whole world is engineered in many ways and colors. I also wanted to add an image of Albert Einstein since the year 2005 is the 100th birthday of his Theory of Relativity.
