In designing this poster I thought about the different types of engineers in the world: product design engineers, mechanical engineers, architectural engineers, city planners, electrical engineers, automotive engineers, etc.. Then I researched the different things that they do in their work and looked for an element that was common to all of them. The element that inspired the design was technical drawings of things like floor plans, electrical circuits, gears and architectural drawings. The subjects of the drawings are the things that engineers work towards producing that help shape the world we live in and give more color or diversity.
