Students work cooperatively to construct a one foot tall building out of balsa wood that can survive a wrecking ball. Students will discover the relationship between gravity, mass, potential and kinetic energy.
This pack includes enough materials for 25 students to work individually:
- Wrecking Ball Machine (PVC pipes and elbows, duct tape, wrecking ball, string, spinner and protractor)
- Balsa wood
- Masking tape
- Construction paper
- Index cards.
