Engineering Education Service Center is an organization that strives to bring you the best in engineering education through publications, videos, workshops and presentations. The mission of the Engineering Education Service Center is to provide, or help you provide, information resources to promote, guide, and stimulate interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) with a particular emphasis on engineering. We seek to diversify the types of engineers in society by exposing large numbers of students to the capacity they will have to benefit society. The EESC has 10 years experience writing books, manuals, and newsletters to support programs that encourage, motivate and inspire our youth to consider careers in engineering. The EESC can help you meet or exceed your goals, add value to your events or programs, and increase the sustainability of your program.
We are very serious about promoting engineering
education and strive for the best customer service. We take
pride in getting all orders out or responding to inquiries within 24 hrs of our receipt.
 | Celeste Baine (celbaine@engineeringedu.com) is a biomedical engineer, the director of the Engineering Education Service Center and the award-winning author of several engineering career publications. She won the 2005 Norm Augustine Award for Engineering Communications. The award is given to an engineer who has demonstrated the capacity for communicating the excitement and wonder of engineering. She also won the 2004 American Society for Engineering Education's Engineering Dean Council's Award for the Promotion of Engineering Education and Careers. In addition, she is also listed on the National Engineers Week Web site as one of 50 engineers you should meet! She has been providing fun and engaging presentations to teachers, mentors and middle school, high school and college students about engineering careers for the last 8 years. The talks are fun because most people don't know how much one can do with an engineering degree and/or how it can allow them to follow their dreams.
She has given keynotes or presentations about engineering careers for NASA, Purdue University, Princeton University, Department of Defense, New Jersey Institute of Technology, North Dakota State University, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, Whitaker Foundation, Gender Equity Conference, Louisiana Tech University, Boise Sate University, Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, University of Kentucky, National Science Teacher Association conferences, Science Discovery Centers, career centers, numerous high schools and many more. To have her come speak at your school or event, visit http://www.engineeringedu.com/pw/.
