From Jim Kusterer, M.S.Ch,.E., P.E.(ret.), M.S.Ed. - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering starting salaries are now $72,000 (median) (AIChE magazine, June issue); aerospace is far behind them at $59,000.

From Skip - Thanks for the list....but actually, the top starting salary was Chemical Engineers at $ 65,700!
