Pre-Engineering Summer Camps!

The following camp directory lists some of the summer camps for K-12 students in engineering throughout the United States and Canada that are and were previously offered. The directory lists camps that have been hosted by Universities and research centers in the past. Please note that all camps may not be offered every year and that new camps and programs are currently being added. Old or unsuccessful programs are always being eliminated or modified. A substantial number of programs specifically target minorities, women, and other groups traditionally underrepresented in the sciences. The programs offered change frequently, and this database is not comprehensive. This is only meant to be a guide to aid your search for engineering education preparation tools. Many of the programs offer scholarships and may have application deadlines as early as January. If you are interested in a program, please email, call or write the organization listed for an application and the most current information available.

The da Vinci Engineering Enrichment Program (DEEP)
July

The da Vinci Engineering Enrichment Program (DEEP) provides gifted and highly motivated high school students the opportunity for advanced study in a variety of engineering disciplines. DEEP offers the most diverse range of pre-university engineering and science courses in North America. This intense program has been designed exclusively for students who excel in math and science and are looking for a true academic challenge. The program will expose students to concepts and topics beyond the regular secondary curriculum. The program runs during the month of July for 4 weeks. Each DEEP course runs from Monday to Friday for one week. Students have the option to take courses for 1, 2, 3, or all 4 weeks. Students also have the option to live in residence while attending the program. Those who live in residence have the option to take trips and participate in excursions in and around Toronto. This can include visiting Niagara Falls or attending a baseball game.
